Support Over 600 Hokie Student-Athletes

There are a multitude of ways you can be a part of the growth Virginia Tech Athletics is making in the community, the classroom, and in competition. The 2024 Giving Day helps to provide philanthropic support toward the following areas to better imprint the lives of Virginia Tech student-athletes:

Hokie Scholarship Fund

Supporting Hokie student-athletes comes with a major commitment to their lives in the classroom. As tuition steadily rises, the Hokie Club must work harder to continue to fully finance those expenses. Backing the Hokie Scholarship Fund ensures Virginia Tech student-athletes receive the exceptional educational experience that Virginia Tech has to offer and can pursue passions they have outside of their sport.

The 2024-25 athletics year will be a full reseating year for both Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum. All seating and parking locations will be reset, giving current and prospective season ticket holders the chance to improve their priority point ranking, which, in turn, could potentially enhance their seating and parking for the next three years. Friday, March 1, marks the final deadline to lock in benefits from giving to the Hokie Scholarship Fund, so make your gift now before it’s too late!

Sport-Specific Giving

To compete with the best, we must invest well before the competition begins on gameday. Your support helps to offset the costs of travel, equipment, gear, training, and other programmatic expenses that are integral for each of the 22 varsity sports at Virginia Tech to reach its highest potential. Make a gift to your favorite Hokie sport to help it achieve its goals in the future.

Various support programs are integral to the student-athlete experience at Virginia Tech. Consider making a gift to Sports Medicine, Sport Psychology, Athletic Training, or the For Those to Come Endowment this Giving Day to help continue their impact on student-athletes.
