Your support makes it possible to expand our work in preventing, diagnosing, and treating the leading causes of death and disability: cancer, heart disease, and brain and behavioral disorders in both children and adults.

Your generosity has allowed us to deepen our understanding of aggressive pediatric brain cancer, explore new treatment options for glioblastoma, develop therapies for people with diabetes and heart disease, and seek new therapies for those who have experienced early life trauma.

More than 500 faculty, staff, and graduate and undergraduate students are improving human health across the lifespan at the Health Sciences and Technology campus in Roanoke and Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus in Washington, D.C. Between 7 and 8 a.m., a word search will be shared on Virginia Tech's Instagram Stories. The cadet company with the highest number of participants (cadets, alums, parents, and friends of the Corps included) by the end of Giving Day will be awarded a streamer for their guidon that will display the company’s dedication to philanthropy.
