The College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is changing the world. 

With the humanities as our guide, the college is committed to bettering society.

Your gifts go toward so many initiatives that help our students and the world flourish, including internships, study abroad, and community outreach and education. For example, students in our college teach and mentor Kenyan refugees. They also send books to inmates in Virginia prisons as part of a prison education project.

Your support allows our faculty to conduct world-changing research. Researchers explore mental health access, analyze ways that children interact with technology, and find solutions for neighborhoods that suffer from poor urban planning practices.

Social Media: Word Search Challenge
Between 7 and 8 a.m., a word search will be shared on Virginia Tech's Instagram Stories. CLAHS Advisory Board Challenge
Advisory Board members from across the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences have teamed up to fund our 2024 Giving Day Challenge! Each new donor gets us closer to unlocking even more funds to support the great work of our students and faculty. A total of $155,000 has been pledged at the following levels: $30,000 will be unlocked when we hit 500 donors; $50,000 will be unlocked when we hit 750 donors; and $75,000 will be unlocked when we hit 1,000 donors.
