We develop new research tools to tackle the complex issues in our food systems, local economies, the environment, and health. And we share this knowledge with the world through our robust Virginia Cooperative Extension network.

  • Provide the opportunity to apply skills learned inside the classroom in the real world through experiential learning opportunities, such as the Bridge Experience Program.
  • Give students scholarships so they can focus on academics and reduce the time commitment of working while learning.
  • Allow students to participate in organizations and events both in Blacksburg and across the country. Annual funds allow students to bolster their professional development outside of the classroom.
