The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM) is dedicated to transformative medical education and cutting-edge research that will help our students provide comprehensive and compassionate health care. Your support is paramount as we seek to improve the health of the communities we serve. 

As we celebrate Giving Day along with the rest of the Hokie Nation, please join in giving back to the School of Medicine. By giving to the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine during the 24 hours, you can help us unlock additional funds to support our students! During last year’s Giving Day, VTCSOM raised $101,556 from 124 donors. This year, we’d like to see 155 donors and more than 103,000 raised! 

Your support will help us continue to prepare the physician thought leaders who are so essential in today’s ever-changing medical landscape. In the past year, thanks to generous donations, we have helped reduce the tuition burden many medical students face while also developing thought-provoking lectureships with outstanding medical educators from around the country visiting Roanoke.  

With your generosity, we can continue to serve our communities, our country, and our world by developing the physician thought leaders of tomorrow. Please support our efforts on Giving Day.

Between 7 and 8 a.m., a word search will be shared on Virginia Tech's Instagram Stories. Cadet Company Participation Challenge
The cadet company with the highest number of participants (cadets, alums, parents, and friends of the Corps included) by the end of Giving Day will be awarded a streamer for their guidon that will display the company’s dedication to philanthropy.
