Following its program-record fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the men’s soccer program looks for another successful season with postseason success. Despite losing midfielder Daniel Pereira, the No. 1 pick in the 2021 MLS Draft, the Hokies navigated their way to a third straight Sweet Sixteen. Tech brings back a wealth of experience and some talented newcomers that will offer a push through ACC play and one of the toughest schedules in the country.
YOUR support during Triumph Together will assist our program in many aspects including:
-International Trip - postponed due to COVID-19
-Scholarship Cost for Summer School
-Provide funds for staff positions to ensure our student-athletes and coaching staff are efficiently and effectively operating to move the program forward.
“As our program celebrates its 50th season this year, it seems like a good time to reflect on what has made Virginia Tech a place that elite student-athletes want to compete at. When we’re able to invest financially into the resources around our program, it results in Blacksburg becoming a destination for talent both in Virginia and across the globe. The quality of our guys is reflected in the classroom, where 22 of them were named to the AD Honor Roll this season, and on the pitch, where we’ve had record-breaking success. We’ve laid a strong and fruitful foundation here and I look forward to continuing to build on that for years to come .”
-Mike Brizendine, Head Coach
