Triumph Together 2021

After reaching new heights during the 2021 season, the Virginia Tech baseball team is eager to build on its success heading into the spring of 2022. The Hokies’ 2021 season started with a bang as Tech rattled off early ACC series victories against No. 6 Miami and No. 25 North Carolina. Dancing in and out of the top 25 nationally, the Hokies navigated a challenging ACC schedule on their way to earning their first ACC tournament berth since 2015. Offensively, Gavin Cross shined for Tech, batting .345 and slugging .621 en route to garnering 2021 All-ACC First Team praise, plus selection to play for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. The Hokies also celebrated four picks during the 2021 MLB Draft in July – their largest draft class in six seasons.
