In a season that featured their highest program ranking, their first pair of All-ACC golfers and their first appearance at nationals, the Hokies shined in 2021 and have bold expectations for the future. Tech ascended to as high as No. 14 in the nation and finished in the top five of six tournaments last season, including a pair of runner-up showings. Led by All-ACC golfers Becca DiNunzio and Emily Mahar, who both return for the 2021-22 season, the Hokies advanced to their third straight NCAA regional - garnering a No. 4 seed, which was a program record. Of course, the highlight of the season was advancing out of regionals for the first time, after firing rounds of 282-283-291 to place fourth at Stanford and punch a ticket to Arizona for nationals. With four regulars in the starting lineup set to return, in addition to the eighth-ranked recruiting class in the nation, the Hokies have their sights set on continuing their upward trajectory this upcoming season!

"Having a fund to use at our discretion is essential to the progress of each student athlete. We can make decisions based on their individual needs as well as the needs of our program for lasting improvement. The direct support from our donors has been one of the most vital parts of our growth."
-Carol Robertson, Head Women's Golf Coach
