The College of Science department, school, or academy with the greatest number of donors on Giving Day will receive $2,500; $1,000 to the unit with the second greatest number; $750 to the unit in third place; $500 to the unit in fourth place; and $250 to the unit in fifth. This challenge is generously supported by Dean's Roundtable Advisory Board Member Debbie Koller ('76 B.S.) and Kent Koller.

Once 50 donors have made a gift to the Academy of Data Science or its programs, including Computational Modeling and Data Analytics (CMDA), two generous gifts will be unlocked. VT alumni Linda Patterson ('76 B.S.) and Wesley Patterson ('77 B.A.) will donate $5,000 to the Academy of Data Science Annual Fund. Additionally, VT alumnus and Dean's Roundtable Advisory Board member Mark Scheffel ('78 B.S.) and Nancy Scheffel will donate $2,500 to the CMDA Program.
