Supporting the Student-Athlete & Competing at the Highest Level

While the breadth of fundraising responsibilities for the Hokie Club has expanded since 1949, the principle mission to provide scholarships and a first-class experience for Virginia Tech student-athletes remains the same.

With this support, we're able to welcome top-tier student-athletes to our campus and ensure that they achieve excellence both in the classroom and in competition. Contributions from Hokies near or far, and at any level, are a vital part of moving Virginia Tech Athletics towards an elite level. We're strong together and the strength of Hokie Nation can help ensure the long-term success of our athletic programs.

Areas of IMPACT

There are a variety of areas in which your generous support can leave an impact on our athletic programs. Take a look below the learn more.

Not sure the area you'd like to support? Sport Specific giving is one of the pillars of our Reach for Excellence Campaign and you can give to the program you have the greatest passion for.

Sport-Specific Giving

As the cost of scholarships has continued to rise, so too have expenses such as equipment, travel, nutrition, student-athlete development, strength and conditioning, and recruiting. Contributing to individual sports through this initiative not only helps these teams grow their operating budget, but also assists in recruiting while allowing our programs the opportunity to compete at the highest level both in the ACC and nationally.

Hokie Scholarship Fund

The Hokie Scholarship Fund is designed to address the need for increased funding for annual scholarship support of Hokie student-athletes. All gifts given through this program will go directly to scholarship support. A reminder, that the only way to participate in the priority seating and parking program for football, basketball, and baseball is by making a gift to the Hokie Scholarship Fund. While gifts to other funds count towards your cumulative giving, only gifts to the Hokie Scholarship Fund provide you with a ranking and membership level.
