Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC
Breakthrough With Us For A Brighter Future

Your support drives our efforts to better understand the world’s most devastating diseases, disabilities, and injuries, and to advance prevention, detection, therapies, and cures through rigorous science. It also allows us to offer fellowships and high-level training to graduate students and postdoctoral associates who will become the nation’s future of biomedical research.

Over 600 faculty, staff, and students are working diligently every day at our facilities in Roanoke, Virginia, and Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus in Washington, D.C., to improve the future of human health with focuses on brain function and health, addiction, children’s health, cancer, and cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Together, the advances we make today provide the base for the future of improved health for generations to come.
