Giving Day 2025 is the perfect time for you to make a donation of any size which will provide a real and meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Our goal this year is - for the sixth straight year in a row – to secure the top spot in Virginia Tech’s Giving Day Leaderboard.

The 2025 Virginia Tech Giving Day Advantage Challenge, spotlighting career success and experiential student opportunities, benefits the APEX Center for Entrepreneurs in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the center’s founding, and is supported by Ted ’91 and Linda ’89 Hanson, who are committed to supporting student success through entrepreneurship education and transformational learning experiences. Donors can contribute to any Pamplin fund and help unlock additional funds for the Hanson’s challenge. For every 340 unique donors, $10,000 will be unlocked for the APEX Center for Entrepreneurs up to a total of $100,000.

Pamplin Leaderboard Challenge

All Pamplin departments, programs, and initiatives will win a share of Pamplin Leaderboard challenge funds. $100,000 will be awarded to the top 10 units with the most donors to their area with 1st place receiving $20,000 aggregated down to 10th place receiving $2,000. Following Giving Day, Pamplin will award special bonuses to units #11-38 on the Leaderboard: When Pamplin reaches 3,000 unique donors, an additional $250 will be unlocked for units #11-38 on the Leaderboard. When Pamplin reaches its goal of 3,400 unique donors, an additional $250 will be unlocked for all units #11-38 on the Leaderboard for a total of $500 for each. Corps of Cadets Decades Challenge

The Top-3 Corps of Cadets alumni decades with the most donors will receive additional funds towards their decade's scholarship. 1st place will receive $1,000, 2nd place will receive $750, and 3rd place will receive $500.
