College of Science
Help students get the books they need

Let’s get straight to the point: The funds you contribute to College of Science on Giving Day go directly to helping our students.

This year alone, the College (with your support) provided 76 Virginia Tech students with $23,250 to help with their textbook purchases.

Do not take our word for how important this is to many students. Listen to one of these students:

“The amount of stress that has been lifted off my shoulders is more than I can express. I’m now able to get the textbook I need to stay on track for my classes and gain the extra information needed to excel in them.”

With your help this year, we intend to bolster our emergency fund and help more students. Thank you for paying it forward.
