The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM) provides compassionate care for animals, people, and the environment. This is accomplished through veterinary care in our three hospitals, but also groundbreaking research and clinical trials that uncover new ways to treat and control diseases in animals and humans, all while training the next generation of veterinary, research, and public health professionals.
Support Compassionate Care
You can make a difference in pet parents' lives today with a gift towards the Compassionate Care Program. This program provides financial support to animals in need when their owners are either unknown or cannot afford treatment, and it is completely donor funded. As an added bonus, each gift, big or small, counts towards our participation goals to unlock money from generous community members, directly impacting our ability to provide life-saving services to animals.
Whether your VMCVM hospital of choice is the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) in Blacksburg, the Animal Cancer Care and Research Center (ACCRC) in Roanoke, or the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center (EMC) in Leesburg, there is a compassionate care fund for you – help us save more lives with a gift today!
Veterinary Teaching Hospital Expansion
The expansion and renovation of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at Virginia Tech facilitates our ability to continue to provide world-class, compassionate animal health care for years to come, while building the future of the veterinary profession through hands-on training of residents, interns, and DVM students. Every gift received today counts towards our overall Giving Day participation goal of 475 donors, which will unlock a $100,000 gift towards this essential project.
