Dave Cianelli built Virginia Tech Track & Field and Cross Country into a legitimate power in the ACC. The Hokies swept the ACC Indoor Championships in both men and women in 2022, and are poised for more team and individual success in the 2022-2023 academic year. Make a gift toward this program to help supplement the Hokies’ plans to upgrade the Rector Field House and to provide the student-athletes with updated developmental technology.
“Hello Hokie Nation! Thank you so much for your contributions and continued support of Virginia Tech Athletics. Your donations help our program to purchase additional equipment and allow us to travel to the top meets in the country while we produce elite athletes at the conference and national level. Thank you again for your support and GO HOKIES!”
- Dave Cianelli, Director of Track & Field and Cross Country
“Hokie Nation, this year has come with many accomplishments and successes. Thanks to all of you, my teammates and I have had the opportunity to travel all over and experience some of the greatest track venues in the country. This year we accomplished something that no other team in the ACC has ever done by winning both the Men and Women’s Indoor Championships at home. With your support, we will continue to be great! Thank you for your support and love!”
- Cole Beck, Sprints
