After leading the program to unprecedented success and instilling a winning culture that has seeped into every aspect of Virginia Tech Track & Field and Cross Country, Coach David Cianelli has called it a career. Virginia Tech alum and 18-year Virginia Tech assistant coach Ben Thomas will now carry the torch and lead the Hokies into future competitions. The 2023-2024 season was full of more success for Tech, including the third consecutive ACC indoor women’s title and nine total first-team All-Americans. The future is immensely bright for the Hokies and your support can help ensure the Hokies remain in both conference and national championship contention.
Specifically, your Triumph Together involvement will aid the following areas:
- Each gift will help provide captivating graphics within Rector Field House displaying the rich and storied history of this program
- Funds from Triumph Together will help this program invest in HVAC systems for the Rector Field House, as well as the resources to invest in a video board for the facility
- Resources used to provide this program with a BOOST treadmill, a state-of-the-art machine that would allow the Hokies to recover and train more efficiently
