The Virginia Tech spirit squads have the unique opportunity to perform at the highest level in not just their own competitions, but also at Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum to support football, basketball, volleyball and wrestling. Their squads provide unbridled energy and passion on the sidelines that permeates to the crowd and becomes contagious at Tech games and significantly contributes to the special game day environment that Virginia Tech has become so well known for.
Spirit director Josh Larrick simply put it, “Our team loves performing for you, the fans. Our goal is to get you involved and into the game. With Triumph Together, it is our chance to!”
Contributions to Virginia Tech Spirit Squads will directly support:
- Resources for team equipment to represent Virginia Tech on game days and other various events
- Funds to feed Virginia Tech Spirit Squad student-athletes at the Student-Athlete Performance Center
- Funding for travel and related expenses for team to compete at the National Championships in Orlando in January 2025
