What did you learn at Virginia Tech?
A truly great education is about more than the subject you major in. It includes a deeper understanding of yourself, your purpose, and your values. A great education endures for a lifetime. It is who we become, and it continues long after our formal schooling has concluded.
Student Affairs recognizes that a great education takes place everywhere on campus – in residence halls, dining centers, classrooms, living-learning communities, student centers, on the playing fields, and in clubs and organizations. Virtually every aspect of a student’s life is embodied in the work of Student Affairs.
We don’t want students to just survive — we want them to thrive.
This is why we are committed to an ambitious Giving Day initiative. We want to expand opportunities and access for all students. We are building community — on our campus and throughout the world. Giving Day is your opportunity to partner with us to enhance the learning environment for all students.
Your gift allows Student Affairs to give students the programs, services, support, and tools to make the most of their Virginia Tech experience, as well as to respond quickly to unforeseen challenges and unimagined opportunities. If you are interested in giving to a particular area of Student Affairs, select “other” and write in your preference — for example, diversity and inclusion, ExperienceVT, facilities and learning environments, living-learning communities, service and leadership, or student well-being.
Any reason is a good reason to give to Student Affairs. Large or small, your gift matters to students at Virginia Tech.
Do you have great memories of a particular student organization, fraternity, or sorority? Giving to a registered student organization is another great way to enhance the student experience, and to help support students as they gain leadership skills and practical experience working with others. To give to a registered student organization, you can select from the drop-down menu or write in the name of the organization in the “other” field on the official Giving Day donation form.
