Corps of Cadets

Throughout the decades, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets has evolved as a world-class leader development program that understands that at the root of great leaders is great character. Our alumni rise to face new challenges and leave a lasting impact on their communities and around the globe. Your donation to the Corps on Giving Day supports our cadets on their journeys to become the next generation of leaders.

Make a Giving Day donation to the Corps in any amount of $5 or more. Participation is what is being counted!

This year, we're asking Corps class years to unite, support cadets, and have fun with these two challenges:

Cadet Challenge
Corps Color Guard alums Allison Laclede Tillotson '15 and Ian Tillotson '14 challenge 25 cadets to give during Giving Day. Once we reach that goal, a $2,500 donation will be unlocked.

Commandant’s VTCC Decade Participation Challenge

If you’re an alum, you must include your class year on the online giving form to be counted. If you’re a friend of the Corps, include the decade or class year you want your donation to go toward.

  • 1970s
  • 1980s

The decade with the highest number of participants by noon ET Thursday, Feb. 25, will win.The prize is $40,785 added to your decade’s Class Endowed Scholarship provided by Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Alumni Inc. board members.

Plus, you'll earn a special recognition during the 2021 Corps Reunion and (most importantly) bragging rights!
