Help us support students in the summer

When student contracts come to a close at the end of the school year, many talented students supported by the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) do not have the financial means to stay on campus for the summer to work on research and creative projects.

Your Giving Day gift helps ICAT bridge that gap so students can keep creating instead of stepping away.

A donation for paid summer research and work opportunities helps students continue to contribute to ICAT projects by providing:

  • stability during the gap months
Students have money for food and rent, which helps them stay focused on their work.
  • the ability to see a project through from start to finish
Students can see an existing project through to completion or help shape the direction of a new one.
  • real-world collaborative experience
Students work across science, engineering, art, and design. That transdisciplinary experience strengthens their portfolios and puts them on the path to cutting-edge careers.
