Giving Day 2026 is here! Your gift today – no matter the size – continues our tradition of supporting student scholarships and growing research programs for outstanding graduate students who are using their skills to solve problems that matter to them.

The Institute for Advanced Computing serves as the academic anchor of the new building in Alexandria, and is home to the Master of Engineering programs in Computer Engineering and Computer Science and Applications. Institute faculty drive innovation across industries in five core research areas, from AI to Wireless to Quantum.

The Stavrou Family will generously donate $75,000 towards student scholarships and junior faculty recruitment for the Institute for Advanced Computing once 50 donors make gifts to support Virginia Tech’s programs in the greater D.C. area.

Our K-12 Initiatives prepare and inspire the next generation of problem solvers with computing and STEM pathway experiences needed to thrive in the global society. With programming for students and instructors across the greater D.C. area, we are working to transform classroom instruction with innovative, research-based approaches.

The Boeing Center for Veteran Transition and Military Families is committed to aligning military talent with workforce and innovation needs. Your support helps ensure that service members and their families are set up for success in their next chapter.

We are excited to build Virginia Tech’s influence in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Thank you for being part of this impactful work!
