Student Affairs
Help Hokie students thrive, lead, and serve

Student Affairs shapes the student experience beyond the classroom, through programs that meet students where they are and help them move to where they aspire to go.

Your generous gifts empower Student Affairs to support every Hokie to thrive in their journey at Virginia Tech. When you give, you help the leaders of tomorrow grow. Here’s how your donation can make a difference:

Vice President of Student Affairs Priority Fund

This fund fuels initiatives that shape well-rounded, purpose-driven Hokies through leadership development, experiential learning, and well-being and belonging. Your contributions here help us meet emerging needs and opportunities strategically.

Hokie Family Annual Fund

This fund helps educate students about Hokie traditions and supports transition programs like Gobblerfest, Weeks of Welcome, and alcohol-free weekend programming. These initiatives help students connect with others and build community from their first days on campus.

Your donations can also support vital programs and services, ensuring every Hokie has the resources to succeed. Today, you can contribute to:

  • Animal-Assisted Therapy and Cook Counseling Center for mental health support.
  • The Chillfield, helping busy students connect and de-stress on the go.
  • Cranwell International Center for global perspectives and intercultural competence.
  • Dining Services and Fraternity and Sorority Life, helping students find a place for community.
  • Hokie Wellness, New Student and Family Programs, and Recreational Sports, for well-being and healthy lifestyles.
  • Interfaith Initiative for dialogue and relationship building.
  • The Market of Virginia Tech for food security.
  • Residential Well-being and Schiffert Health Center for campus health and supportive living.
  • Recovery Community for addiction recovery support.
  • Services for Students with Disabilities, so all Hokies thrive in their living and learning environments.
  • Student Engagement and Campus Life for events and leadership development.
  • Student Emergency Fund, to help students overcome sudden challenges.
  • VT Engage, for civic leadership and service-learning.
  • And more!

Thank you for supporting Student Affairs!
